Scholarship

The Shady Hollow Stingrays Swim Team Board is currently accepting applications to receive a $500 (five-hundred dollars) Stingray Scholarship. Eligible applicants include swim team members who:

  • Are in their final year of eligibility (age 18 on May 1, 2008) in summer league swimming,
  • And are high school seniors intending to attend college;
  • Or are already enrolled in college.

Applicants will be selected based on their responses to the application questions, a short written essay, a short interview with the selection committee, and reference evaluations. Return completed forms (application, essay, and three (3) reference evaluations) to the Head Coach no later than 5 pm on Friday, June 13th, 2008. (Sorry, late applications will not be accepted.) Interviews will be held during the week of June 15th, 2008.
